UGANDA: Street basketball jam due on Saturday

JOSEPH Ikong, the 2005 dunk master, will have his title put on the line when the 2nd edition of the street basketball jam takes place on Saturday.
Extra Miles basketball group have organised the one-day bash that is open to all individuals who would like to exhibit their skills.
Ikong will be up against a much-improved line-up consisting of Henry Malinga, Ivan Enabu, Julius Wapera and Ken Balyejusa.
“Last year, we successfully held the inaugural street jam at the same venue which prompted us to make it an annual event,” Extra Miles founder and member, Hakeem Iga said.
* The East African Basketball Federation has moved the secretariat of the regional body from Kampala to Nairobi. No reason was given for the change.
