UGANDA: KIU bid for AR star
KAMPALA International University (KIU) Rangers are set to sign a sh2.2m three-year deal to snatch Tewin Semakula from Amazon Rhino basketball team.
The deal is expected to be one of the first to be finalised when the transfer window opens on January 23. Semakula also plays netball for Police in the national league.
The deal will require Semakula to sign a three-year contract with Rangers that also includes a study scholarship at the Kansanga-based University.
Semakula is hailed as one of the strongest forwards and KIU Rangers have raced ahead of Uganda Christian University (UCU), Mukono and MUK-Sparks for the star player’s signiture.
