TANZANIA: Six promoted to RBA League
The Basketball Dar es Salaam (BD) has promoted six teams to play this year’s RBA League.
BD Secretary-General Mbaga Mwambona said yesterday the teams were promoted after performing well in the second division league matches ’’Dream Cup’’.
They are Magnet, Chui, Mkwawa and Chang’ombe Boyz in men’s category. Women teams are Police Dar es Salaam and Lady Lion.
The teams join other 14 teams that remained in the league last year.
Men’s teams that remained in the league are Savio, JKT, Pazi, Oilers, Vijana, UDSM Outsiders, Tanzania Prisons, TM Rocket, Mgulani JKT and Jogoo.
Women’s are JKT, Jeshi Stars, Cargo Ladies and Tanzania Prisons.
Dream Cup League involved 15 in men’s teams and two women’s team.
Other men’s teams were Sina Warriors, Don Bosco Senior, Mbezi Waves, Tanblacks, Bias, Umoja Amref,Magone,110%, Yoo! Street and PTW.
