Boys' basketball champions Maseno School rocked Friends' School Kamusinga 70-57 to record their second straight win in the ongoing national secondary schools games at Mangu High School in Thika.

Michael Otula scored 18 points while Edwin Otula had 10 as the East Africa champions triumphed in a match of tension and agility.
"It was a very closely contested match. Our opponents were the better team," Kamusinga coach Joseph Were said.
Taila Okari had 17 points and James Mathiang added nine for Kamusinga, who are yet to find a winning formula against Maseno.
Moses Wanjara scored 12 points as the three-time national winners led 35-28 by half time.
Although Maseno had a difficult time winning the tie, coach, Paul Otula was optimistic of performing better in the semis.
"Going into the quarters, we really have to build on this," Otula said.

Second quarter
The younger Otula had eight points in the second quarter.
Maseno picked apart Kamusinga's defence to open a 35-28 lead after the second quarter.
With a minute left in the third quarter, Michael Otula delivered a clean-but-hard foul to a driving James Omweno. Maseno scored 17 points to Kamusinga's 13.
The partisan crowd supported Otula's boys. Otula is a former principal of Mangu. When Maseno were trailing 55-53, in the third quarter, the cheering rose to a fever pitch, which helped the winners regain ground.
In the other boys' encounter, Mukaa of Eastern Province drubbed Wajir 112-16.
North Eastern Province Girls basketball team were on the receiving end against St. Angela's of Eastern.
North Eastern had lost 100-04 to Pangani on Tuesday.
