TANZANIA : Kili Super Cup titles go to Savio and JKT

Savio have been crowned the new champions of the Kili Super Cup after beating Vijana 36-34 in the final match played at the Indoor Stadium in Dar es Salaam last Sunday.
The team trained by Dansy Makula led 24-15 until the breath. Mohamed Yusuph and George Tarimo scored 11 points each for Savio while top scorers for Vijana were Mohamed Ally `Dibo` and Robert Mugabi who scored 13 and seven points, respectively.
The newly-crowned champions were awarded 6.5m/- while Vijana received 3m/-. JKT were awarded 2m/- for finishing third.
Savio`s George Tarimo won titles of Most Valuable Player (MVP) and best defender. He got 500,000/- for winning both titles. Robert Mugabi of Vijana was awarded 200,000/- for being the best foreign player.
The best three point shooter was taken by Mohamed Yusuph of Savio who got 100,000/-.
In another development, JKT won women's title after hitting Jeshi Stars 45-34 in another final match played on the same ground.
JKT got 500,000/- while Jeshi Stars received 300,000/-. Don Bosco finished third and they were awarded 200,000/-.
