UGANDA : Dulah issues rallying call as Power stare at elimination

Kampala.
After last year’s 4-0 final series whitewash by City Oilers, Tiger Head Power sought reinforcements in Sudi Ulanga, Fahmy Ssebatindira and Michael Makiadi while old boys in Kenneth Balyejusa, Richard Balemwa returned.
The additions as well as that of coach Robert Mugabe, however, seem to have yielded little change with a 15-7 record leaving them as fourth seeds at the end of the regular season. Mugabe has also since been cast aside in the shape of an unwanted leave.
Crucially, however, they trail Star Times Falcons 1-0 in the Pepsi Best of Three quarterfinal series following Saturday’s 84-80 defeat and are now staring at elimination unless they win today’s Game Two at YMCA Wandegeya.
“When you play badly you are off, that’s what the playoffs mean,” joked veteran guard Abdulahi Ramathan, “We need, though, to show more character,” he added.
