Leaders Don Bosco beat Mount Kenya University (MKU) Nairobi 86-78 in a Nairobi Basketball Association league match played at Railways Club.
Joel Atebe nailed 35 points and Isaac Muruyu hit the losers 17. Paul Kimani sunk a late free shot as Old Pirates scored a tight 47-46 victory over Ulinzi.
In other games, our Lady Queen of Peace dismissed Strathmore University 90-73 in a high scoring tie. Duncan Ahuya managed 21 for the winners while Sydney Mwanza posted game high 33 for the students. MKU Thika recorded a huge 93-25 win over Embakasi Dynamoz, Multi Media University (MM) fell 44-39 to Technical University of Kenya while United States International University hit Emyba 63-58.
Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Karen hit Lycans 58-35. JKUAT Karen also nipped Pandas 40-38. Keith Adams nailed 22 points to guide Strathmore University to a close 63-61 triumph over USIU but the latter recovered to hit Catholic University of Eastern Africa 40-33.
In other matches, TUK beat Zetech Thika Road 43-30, Multi Media University (fell 35-38 to Neosasa Morans, MMU humbled Embakasi Dynamos 51-31, FEBA clipped Machakos Hawks 50-48 while Emyba ripped Woodley Knights 70-34.
