IVAN Enabu will make his second debut for the Warriors today at the YMCA.
The two-time champions open their National Basketball League (NBL) campaign against the Nkumba Marines, already victims of two blow-out defeats, and Enabu will be back representing the same team he left only weeks ago.
Enabu’s departure from the Warriors to Tiger Head Power and then back to the Warriors all in less then a month during the pre¬season is now the stuff of legends and a reminder that the sport governing body FUBA need to restore some sanity to the transfer of players between clubs.
At any rate, in sports there is no sin winning cannot cleanse. All Enabu needs is a memorable campaign and all will be forgiven and forgotten. Redemption starts today.
In the women’s NBL, there will be a Zuku University Basketball League women’s final rematch of sorts when the UCU Ladies face the Makerere Sparks
