Technical University of Kenya narrowly lost 37-39 to Neosasa Morans who had 12 from Lameck Naminyi while TUK had 10 from Robert Simiyu.
The only ladies tie saw Daystar University clobber Zetech College 59-25 with Claire Muthoni sinking 21 points.
