ANGOLA : Official Alerts Improvement of Sport Courts At School
The chairperson of the Provincial Basketball Association of Benguela (APBB), Júlio Paiva, said on Saturday that the revival of basketball in schools depends on the improvement of conditions to its practice.
The official said so in the first provincial basketball meeting that took place in Benguela.
He said that schools lack basketball backboard on the courts, coupling the scarcity of well-trained and supported physical education teachers.
Júkio Paiva appealed for the massive participation of the teaching staff in the physical education subject in directed courses to coaches, referees and sport officials for technical progressive upgrading in basketball field.
