STRATHMORE University continued their dominance in the ongoing Kenya University Sports Association (KUSA) league with a 32-23 win over University of Nairobi (UON) over the weekend. 'Blades' who are also the defending champions took a lowly 11-10 lead at the break and were led by Shilton Ochieng who managed 12 points.
Hilary Kubai managed 13 points for the losers. UoN recovered to beat Africa Nazarene University 37-31. Technical University of Kenya beat Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology 49-40 as Malinga Tayce and Raymond Wanjohi combined for 22 points. Guyton Kijuba picked up 8 for the losers. Strathmore blanked Co-operative University 38-29 behind Emmanuel Soja's 12 points.
CUEA whipped ANU 45-15 and in their other game, they had 16 points from Alphonse Mwema as they hit Co-operative University 48-31. Co-op on the other hand hit ANU 37-31 in over time. UoN beat ANU 37-31. ANU had 13 points from Jack Odede in a 53-35 mauling of Multi Media University (MMU). United States International University (USIU) beat Kenya Methodist University (Kemu) 39-15.
