GHANA : Baniba Dodzie says he will be one of the best ever

DodzieCEPS forward Baniba Dodzie is confident when he is done playing he will one of the top players to ever lace up the sneakers in Ghana.
Dodzie has simply been phenomenal for the Accra-based side over the last decade where he has been instrumental in their dominance.
CEPS have won the Greater Accra basketball series over the last 14 years as the likes of Police, Fire Service and Tema Youth continue to play catch-ups.
The impressive baller, who is still seen as one of the brightest talents to emerge from the West African country, has won many league MVP awards.
He was crowned the MVP at the 2013 Ghana Basketball Awards held in Accra, beating competition from team-mate Hashim Brimah and Cyril Clarke of the University of Ghana.
“I’m going to be one of the top four that’s ever played this game, for sure,” he said.
“And if they don’t want me to have one of those top four spots, they’d better find another spot on that mountain.
Somebody’s gotta get bumped, but that’s not for me to decide. That’s for the architects.
“I am confident about continuing my progress and hopefully I will end my career as one of the best players to have every played the game in Ghana.
“I have hopes of playing for a stellar club abroad and just hanging into hope that the opportunity will present itself.”
Dodzie was adjudged the Most Valuable Player in Ghana after an exciting season with CEPS and Accra Polytechnic.
He played an influential role for CEPS as they defended an incredible 11-year unbeaten run in the Greater Accra Basketball series.
He was again the main architect for Accra Polytechnic as they dazzled their way to winning the 2012 Polytechnic Games held in Sekondi Takoradi.
