Kampala- The rumour had NTV written all over. The truth is that NBS TV will screen the entire Castle Lite basketball playoffs starting today through to the finals set to climax on December 13.
Game One of the men’s best-of-three quarterfinal series between fourth seed KIU Titans a
nd City Oilers will be the first playoff game to be shown from 7.30pm.

Also, Sunday’s marquee clash involving UCU Canons and record champions Falcons will be live from 5.30pm. Both games will be played at the Lugogo MTN Arena.

Earlier this year, NBS signed a deal to telecast live Warriors’ Friday games and yesterday, they stretch beyond one club to the eight men’s teams jostling for glory. This is the first time the playoffs will be screened live in the league’s 18-year history.
At a media briefing yesterday at Hotel Triangle, Fuba also confirmed a Shs45m Pepsi sponsorship for the 16-team playoffs.
