THE Airtel National Basketball women champions KCCA Leopards have a fresh task on their hands today. A positive result at Lugogo will depend on their ability to stop Magic Stormers’ towering player Carol Nyafwono.
Nyafwono has an average of 15 points and 10 rebounds in her past four games and will pose a challenge to Leopards' Martha Soigi and Claire Lamunu.
Nyafwono will combine forces with Esther Awayo, Sylvia Twesigye and point guard Rukia Meme.
Table leaders Leopards are still unbeaten from six games while third-placed Stormers have won three games and lost two.
But a win or loss will still leave Leopards on top of domestic basketball’s premier clubs competition. But victory for Stormers will see them take over from UCU Lady Canons in second position.
There will be also be action in the men's category.  Bottom-placed and winless Miracle Eagles will host another lowly outfit Charging Rhinos.
Former champions Nkumba Marines will take on Victoria University Heaters in the other game.
Meanwhile, D-Mark Power outwitted Falcons 87-78 in a league game held in Kampala on Friday. In the women’s category, UCU Canons beat A1 Challenge 64-37.
