RWANDA : Urunani win Gisembe Memorial tourney
Burundi champions Urunani shocked their Rwandan counterparts Espoir to win the 2013 Gisembe Memorial basketball Tournament over the weekend at Amahoro indoor stadium court.
Urunani beat Espoir by two points, 63-61 to win the men’s title. In the women category, Ubumwe beat APR 56-46 to win the title. DR Congo’s PJB finished third with a 40-35 win over RAPP.
The tournament which attracted ten teams was held in honour of players and officials, who were killed during the Genocide.

I am very proud of our basketball level both in Rwanda and in Burundi; But still we need to make more tournment to improuve our Basketball game.
