Kenya: Multi Media Varsity Crush Don Bosco
ZONE 'A' leaders Don Bosco crushed 30-41 to Multi Media University (MMU) in the Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA) match at Railways Club. The winners had 11 points from the sharp shooting Ray Nyatour while the losers had 12 points from Joel Atebe. Technical University of Kenya pipped Woodley Knights 48-43. Derrick Mbogo shot 20 points for TUK while Ezra Alenga had 18 for the losers. Baraka Xtreme beat Lycans 67-36. Upper Hill lost 29-36 to Dankind Academy at their home ground. Fred Ngararo made 13 points for Dankind while Joshua Omollo had the losers 16.
JKUAT Juja had 14 points from Garang Dend as they beat CFC Stanbic 69-35 who had 23 points from Peter Ndongi.
Legacy fell 44-46 to our Lady Queen of Peace who had 15 points from John Murumba while Maxwell Murunga nailed similar score for the losers.
JKUAT Karen dismissed Lycans 58-52, behind Clinton Kiarie's 14 points. The losers, who played a much more improved game had 17 points from Clifton Sang. MTK Thika torched Dolphins 79-23 as Fidelis Ireri scored 12, Africa Nazarene University beat Neosasa Morans 64-42 , Old Pirates running over FOB 41-29 while nipped United States International University 25-21.
Bridgit Nanzala scored 22 points to lead Ulinzi Blades to 70-32 win over ANU while champions Strathmore University nipped Zetech College 27-24.
ANU had 14 from Maria Mbewa as they dismissed Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Karen 32-27. Mary Chepkoi bagged 11 for Juja side. Gladiators beat Buru Buru Girls 49-35. Sylvia Koech hit 13 points for the winners and Lisa Mayienga led the high school girls with 12.
