KENYA : Co-op, Lions clash in KBF Premier League

Lions Club will be facing 2012 Defending Champions Co-op Bank as the Kenya Basketball Federation Premier League resumes this weekend.
The two teams met in the semi finals of the 2012 play offs where Co-op Bank emerged victorious after a 2-1 win in the best of three series. Currently Co-op Bank leads the table standings with 16 points from 9 matches while Lions lie 3rd with 11 points from 6 matches. Co-op Bank has lost two of its matches so far while their opponents have lost only once. The two teams will clash at 4:30 pm at the Nyayo gymnasium.
In other matches that will take place at the Nyayo gymnasium defending Champs and league leaders Eagle Wings will face a winless Mennonites at Noon in the women’s category while Sylvia Kamau’s Strathmore Swords go up against fellow students KU Oryx at 1:30 pm.
The Mennonites men’s team will go up against second placed Thunder at 3:00 pm. Thunder will be seeking to bounce back after a 73-80 loss to Lions last Friday. Below are the full fixtures for the weekend:
