KENYA : Co-op Bank seek dividend against Terrorists

Champions Co-operative Bank will take on University of Nairobi’s Terrorists in one of 11 basketball Premier and Division One league first leg matches lined up at Nairobi’s Nyayo Stadium this weekend.
Co-op Bank are second on standings with 10 points from six matches. Thunder, who have been on a long break, head the 12-team log with 12 points from six straight wins. A win favourites Co-op would put them on a tie with Thunder.
  Terrorists were hammered 84-53 by Mennonites, while Co-op Bank, through Titus Musembi, Allan Ouma and James Mwangi, torched Blazers (60-50) in their last assignment.

KPA have won all their three first leg matches but are placed a distant eighth position on six points. KCA-U, who have only won one match and lost five, are seventh with (7) points.

Fixtures: Saturday: Trail Blazers v Little Prince (9am), KCA-U v KPA (10am), Zetech College v Strathmore University (12pm), Co-op Bank v Sprite Storms (2pm), Co-op Bank v Terrorists (4pm).

Sunday: Mennonites v KPA - women- (9am), Flames of the USIU-A v Safe Spaces (10.30am), Upper Hill School v World Hope (12pm), Strathmore University v Pirates (1.30pm), Mennonites v KPA - men (3pm), Lions v Tigers of the USIU-A (4.30pm).
