UGANDA : Lugudde out of FNL show

Isaac Lugudde won’t be gracing YMCA courts in the Friday Night Lights (FNL) after his LK4 team failed to make the quarterfinals.
Lugudde, who has become the face of FNL by recruiting Kampala’s top celebrities into his team, couldn’t inspire LK4 to victory as they went down 61-63 to Team Koma on Friday night.
“It was unfortunate we lost,” said Lugudde, who scored 15 points. “But at least we have been very entertaining in all our games.”
Team Flirsh, captained by the women’s league most valuable player, Flavia Oketcho, also bade farewell to the tournament after losing 39-44 to Team Ikong.
Meanwhile, Edgar Mwebaze, a fan, thrilled the crowd by nailing a half court shot to win himself a flat screen.
