KENYA : Eagle Wings going for second win in Mombasa

Kenya’s basketball defending champions Eagle Wings will this afternoon land in Mombasa ahead of Saturday’s game 2 of the semi final play offs that will be staged at the Makande Hall in Mombasa.
Eagle Wings defeated KPA 56-49 in a tight first match of the best of three staged at the Nyayo stadium in Nairobi last weekend and assistant coach Evelyn Kedogo says they want to kill the match on Saturday.
“KPA is a powerful team very technical and with quality players. But we head to Mombasa with good confidence and our first match win is a big positive for our charge. We want to kill this match on Saturday but if it has to go to the third match we still must qualify for the finals.” She says.
The two teams have always been fierce rivals in any encounter be in locally or in regional competition and no one has direct surety of winning the match.
“Our matches have always been tight and unpredictable.” Says KPA coach Anthony Ojukwu, “But we are ready for them, we have corrected our errors and we hope we will carry the day and push the match to math day 3.” Ojukwu adds.
