KENYA : Kenyatta Pitted Against Strathmore in NBA Final
KENYATTA University "Oryx" meet Starthmore University in the final of Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA) after they demolished Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUATS) 45-37 in the semis.
The match played on the best of three series saw Betty Kananu, the league's top scorer, lead the way with 17 points while Mariel Ayen added 9 for JKUATS. Claire Kimeli and Silvia Hassan topped the losers chart with a combined 16 points haul.
The men's finals will see Strathmore University battle Equity Bank. The two giants lost only one game. In the classification for third/fourth in the men's category Mike Ngugi scored 21 points to lead Barclays Bank Eagles to a 56-46 win over Little Prince who had 18 from Malek Lino.
Zetech College dismissed JKUATS Juja 52-42 in another tie. Joshua Okumu nailed 14 points for the winners while top three pointer Kijuba Guyton scored 10 for the Juja side.
