KENYA : Basketball League enters play offs this weekend

The Kenya Basketball Federation Premier and Division One leagues will head into the play-offs starting Saturday at the Upper Hill High School. The play-offs are scheduled to take place after the end of the 1st and 2nd legs of the regular season.
Abel Wafula’s Masinde Muliro University who finished in 8th position will face KCB Lions who finished in 1st position while Defence Forces side Ulinzi will be against defending champions Co-op Bank.
In the Div One league, Nairobi Aviation will be seeking promotion to the Premier League and their first hurdle will be against Kenyatta University’s Pirates. Nakuru Club who finished the regular season on top of the table will host the only matches played away from Nairobi when they host Parklands Baptist on Saturday and Sunday at the Menengai High School, Nakuru.
It should be noted that the teams playing this weekend will meet back to back that is on Saturday and Sunday. The women’s play-offs will kick off next weekend.
