KENYA : Strathmore Face Dolphins in Basketball Play-Offs Opener
ZONE 'B' leaders Strathmore University will play Dolphins in the Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA) Play-offs opener at Railways Club this weekend. According to the draws released by NBA secretary Sylvia Kamau Ocholla, the Zone 'A' top seed Barclays Bank take on Daystar University and Equity Bank meet Mount Kenya University, Thika.
Strathmore and Equity, playing in Zone 'B' have garnered 47 points each from 24 matches and have both only lost a single game.
Zone 'A' BBK are on 42 points from 22 games. The play-offs will run all the way up to mid November. The matches will be played on home and away basis.
The men's teams will start off their programme at the elimination stage while the eight women's sides begin in the quarter-finals.
