KENYA : Coop face Tigers as KBF league intensifies

USIU Flames and KCB Lions lead the basketball premier League table standings going into this weekend’s matches with the Flames enjoying a two points’ advantage ahead of Coop Bank ladies having 26 points against Queens’ 24 after 14 matches.
Storms come in third with 23 also having played 14 matches while defending champions Eagle Wings have 22 points though they have played two matches less.KPA is a distant 8th with 17 points from 9 matches played so far.
On the men’s log, KCB Lions maintain their leadership at the summit of the log with 30 points four ahead of 2nd placed Coop Bank the defending champions and former champions Ulinzi Warriors.USIU Tigers are 4th and KPA 5th.
After losing at home to KPA last weekend, defending champions Coop Bank will on Saturday face USIU Tigers in a thrilling match to be staged at Nyayo gymnasium at 3:00PM.Thereafter Strathmore will play league leaders KCB Lions.
