UGANDA : Warriors Take On Tricky Kiu Titans
Four months ago, Kyambogo Warriors stopped KIU Titans 61-56 in a closely contested Airtel National Basketball league. This evening, when the pair meets again, it will be a close call again. Warriors are not looking like themselves after their poor showing at the Zone V Club Championship.
And against Ndejje Angels last week, the team arrived late, although ultimately, they won the game. One wonders if they are taking their time because this time, eight teams will make the playoffs and not the usual four.
The Titans on the other hand, are also another unpredictable side, capable of out witting any team and falling prey to any team as well. At times, during the first round, the team was red hot and looked like title contenders. But they are a squad that you can't count off. In the women's game, KIU Rangers will be taking on the unbeaten UCU Lady Canons.
