Nigeria's star performer against France yesterday at the Basketball Arena has revealed that to get better results in the future and build on the achievement of the Olympics, Nigerian basketball should be reformed.
Oguchi said qualifying for the Olympics has turned out to be very productive for Nigerian basketball and a reform oriented system should be created. "There is a lot to be proud of playing in this Olympics. It has been very productive. When l look back l feel very proud. I believe when we go back we need to reform and it must be system oriented."
He said Nigeria has lots of talents to make it proud. "Our qualification and that of Tunisia is good for Africa basketball. Personally, I am happy with the team, coaches and officials."
Asked on whether he would like to see some changes in the team, he said: "It is is not my responsibility to decide. It is not me to decide whether the coaches, players or officials should be changed. That is the decision of the management." He said.
