The Equity basketball team coach Radhi Ndalu has pointed out that the team has no intentions of taking their feet off the gas pedal as they seek to be crowned champions of the Nairobi Basketball Association League.
Equity finished the 1st leg of the League unbeaten after 11 matches. They have gone further to start the 2nd leg with a positive start winning the 3 matches so far. Their latest victims were student side Multi Media University whom they beat 67 – 44 on Sunday at the Railways Sports Club.
Speaking to michezoafrika.com, Ndalu pointed out that his intention is to overcome all the teams just the way they did in the first leg but they will not underrate any team nonetheless.
“Though we are unbeaten, we want to approach all matches with caution because any team can surprise us. It is a risky affair to under estimate opponents and I think that is what has helped us to achieve the current form that we have.”

Ndalu mentioned that teams should expect a different Equity that wants to win the league.
“Having played 14 matches unbeaten, teams are bound to study the way you play so there are tactical aspects of our game that we have changed to cover ourselves.” The coach added.

Equity has 2 matches lined up this weekend against Old Pirates on Saturday and Mt. Kenya University Nairobi campus on Sunday at the Railways Sports Club.
