UGANDA : D’Mark Power face Miracle hurdle

D’Mark Power were surprised by the Miracle Eagles two months ago. Miracle intend to prove that their performance was no fluke when they face the defending champions in the Airtel National Basketball men’s top division at YMCA on Sunday.
“They almost beat us last time, so we are taking them more seriously now,” said Power star Ben Komakech.
Miracle, struggling to cope with the mass exodus of their stars, almost ambushed Power in a gripping fixture, which announced the arrival of Mohammed Yusuf to the local league.
Yusuf sunk a league-high 38 points in one of the performances of the season although Miracle still lost 98-88.
Meanwhile, UCU beat KIU 59-44 in the men’s division while Stormers defeated Sparks 74-47 on Friday.
