EMYBA tactician Vincent Onsongo said that despite the pressure from Footprints the game was easy: "We had a good defense line set but I feel we should have gotten more points since we lost many open chances but all in all it was an easy game for us."
In the first ladies match of the day, Mt. Kenya University lost to fellow University side Kenyatta University’s Oryx.Mt.Kenya University Head coach Iddi Shaban blamed the loss to lack of substitutes: "We ha
d only one sub and as you can see they beat us in the 2nd quarter when they got 14 points against our 3 points.’ The game ended 48 – 33.
KU Oryx will face Barclays Bank of Kenya Eaglets on Sunday from 12pm at the Railways Sports Club.
