Barclays Bank of Kenya on Saturday banked on their experience to humble Neosasa Morans 66 – 36 in the ongoing Nairobi Basketball Association League played at the Railways Sports Club.
Neosasa tactician Miller Victor while speaking after the match said their game plan was destroyed after their point guard Lameck Numuni suffered an ankle injury.
“This had a heavy impact on our game. We had a problem in the offensive aspect of the game and also his absence was felt in the defence.” Miller said.
Neo Sasa started the match stronger in the first quarter taking an early lead of 10 points against Barclays’ 8.Howevey, they slumped in the 2nd quarter where they were thrashed 19 – 8 to put the total points at 27 – 18 in favor of Barclays.
