KENYA : Eagle wings set eyes on continental Championship

Kenyan Basketball champions Eagle Wings has commenced training ahead of the new season. The current champions will be hoping to retain their title this season as well as clinch the regional trophy.

Eagle Wings will be representing Kenya at the regional championship set to be staged in Kampala Uganda later in the year. The Champions have set an eye on the top slot that will earn them a chance to represent Zone 5 at the African Women’s championships in Ivory Coast.

Assistant Team manager Agina Wesonga told michezoafrika.com. “Our main objective is to
retain our title in the Kenyan league, thereafter win the Zone Five women’s basketball Club championships in August in order to earn a ticket to the African championships in Ivory Coast.”
“I believe I have quality players that I’m sure will win that ticket to represent East African region in the continental club championship in October. We don’t fear any team and I am confident that we will be rewarded for our hard work and determination.” Agina boomed with confidence.”
