THE men’s division one champions will be known on Saturday when defending champions PLS Hawks meet former winners Premium Cobras at the Palais des Sports.

The two teams are locked on 33 points after 16 wins apiece in 17 games.

While PLS Hawks won by a walkover against the defunct RA Herons, Premium Cobras beat Mont Fleuri Dawgz 67-54 on the back of 20 points from Nigerian Michael Ohiero and 18, including four treys, from Darren Lesperance.
Coach Guy Hall’s Cobras won the first and third quarters, 18-8 and 27-13, while the Dawgz dictated the pace in the second and fourth which they won 20-16 and 13-6.

When Eddy Armand banked one of two free-throws with 36 seconds left on the clock, Angels were flying high as they beat RC Dynamics 104-67.

Baya’s inconsistent form continued with a 69-86 loss to MBU Rockers, who got 28 points from skipper and playmaker Nigel Sinon.
