SENEGAL : Zone 2 Prelim. Champions Cup for men: USC Rail and AS Bopp confirm their participation
The male squads of Rail and AS Bopp have confirmed their participation in the Zone 2 Preliminaries of the 22nd edition of African Champions Cup for Men to be held in Guinea Conakry from 05th to 10th November 2007.
Like the other zones, these preliminaries must deliver the Zone 2 representative to the final round of Champions Cup for Men 2007 to be held from 23rd November to 02nd December 2007 in Angola.
In addition to the two Senegalese clubs (Rail and Bopp), MBC and ASK from Guinea and Stade Malien (Mali) will attend the zone 2 preliminaries. Twelve clubs are expected to participate in the final rounds in order to win the continental title held by defending champion, Petro Athletico of Angola. Guinea Basketball Federation through its president Mr. Fode Amara Conde claim to have took all disposals for hosting these preliminaries
