ANGOLA : Federation Chairman Highlights Infrastructures Recovering in Bié
The chairman of the Angolan Basketball Federation (FAB), Gustavo da Conceição highlighted Wednesday in Kuito city, south Bié province, the efforts inserted by the local government in the rehabilitation of sports infrastructures that were destroyed during the armed conflict.
The sports official was speaking at the end of a visit to the province, where he presided over the closing ceremony of the course of training basketball coaches.
Gustavo Conceição referred that the infrastructures will enable a rapid spreading of various sports, foreseeing the development of sports in the region and promised to assist Bié with materials such as ball, whistles and stop watches.
The official visited the rehabilitation works of the sports pavilion of Sporting do Bié and the multipurpose field, at Kunje commune, seven kilometres to the north of Kuito city.
