SADOLIN Power utilised a 17-10 third quarter lead to post a 79-73 victory over a surging Miracle side in one of Sunday's MTN basketball league games.
Miracle took a 20-18 first quarter lead following 13 points from Raymond Bukenya before Allan Tawodda and Marvin Keronga combined for 35 points to give Power a six-point fourth quarter advantage.
Ben Komakech finished with 10 points and eight rebounds for Miracle, who have lost seven of their last 11 games.
Meanwhile, Falcons will look to record their second straight 10-plus victory season when they attempt to win their twelfth consecutive game against Charging Rhinos today at Lugogo Indoor Stadium.
Unbeaten in eleven league contests this year, Falcons are 12-1 and have a two game lead over Nkumba-Marines for the top slot on the Yello Max conference standings.
Falcons, who lost their own invitational tournament to Kenya's Ulinzi in the final, will need to redeem themselves locally. Henry Malinga will again take the charge of spurring the side.
Also playing today, Lady Bucks go for their second season sweep of MUK-Sparks in an early encounter at Lugogo.
Bucks defeated Sparks 48-46 on June 17 for their first round triumph. Even more importantly, a victory for them today could see the Bucks inch closer to KIU Rangers, whom they sit a game behind for second place in the women's playoff race.
